Muntanya de Pol

Itinerary and points of interest: Camí ral (Old road), Picanyol neighbourhood, Armadans house, Muntanya de Pol (the route’s highest point at 1,036 m), Les Casetes neighbourhood.

Description:
We leave the Plaça Major towards the Picanyol neighbourhood along the camí ral (old road) next to Can Xarina, until we arrive at Can Picanyol and cross the N-141 road. We take Carrer Picanyol all the way to the top and from there take a forest track to the right. We cross a metal gate and continue

the path until reaching the Armadans house. Leaving the house to our right, we continue the path which leads us towards a main path from where we will get to the Muntanya de Pol (Paul’s Mountain).

To return, we take the same main path to arrive back to the crossroads from where we will take the left path, instead of carrying on the way we came. After a few metres, we will find another crossroads and we will take the right path towards the Armadans house. We will then continue along the path to the left, as we leave the house behind us and we will arrive at a paved path which we will follow to the right. This will lead us to the Les Casetes neighbourhood and once again into the town.
