Enric Prat de la Riba’s House Museum

The visit to the Prat de la Riba House Museum will enable us to discover a wealthy country house from the early 20th century.
It has been designated a historic-artistic monument since it was the place where Enric Prat de la Riba i Sarrà (1870 -1917), an eminent jurist, president of the Diputació de Barcelona (an economic and administrative institution with authority at provincial level) and founder and first president of the Catalan Community, was born and died.
By means of faithfully preserved spaces and newly decorated ones, it enables the visitor to explore the biography and political views of this great Catalan patrician, and discover the significance and survival of his work.
